Paul Brooke Jr. is an American photographer who was born December 12, 1988 on Long Island, New York. He began his career in photography upon graduating from college in 2011, shortly after moving to Montauk, N.Y. where he was published by local magazines and newspapers.
Traveling has become the routine, documenting the world and taking on various assignments while living out of a backpack and camera case. His summers are spent in Montauk to reconnect with old friends, chase swells and continue where he works with a variety of photo clients, producing editorial, advertising and various life style images. He has been commissioned by The Surf Lodge, The Montauk Beach House, Selina Hotels, Deauville Beach Resort Miami, Potato Beach Club Bali and many others. His work mainly consist of travel, surfing/ocean, landscapes, architecture, fashion, lifestyle and editorial photography. He is also the lead photographer at Native Navigators, a blog/website he manages with long-time girlfriend/partner Demi Lauren.
Most of all, Paul enjoys discovering new waves, teaching surf lessons at Ditch Plains and trekking volcanos, jungles, forest and mountains in far away lands. His love for the outdoors is the highlight of his work, feeling a calling to photograph important places around the world, to share with humanity, and teach people about conservation to sustain the planet,
- our only home.
